This radar has exceeded my expectations. It’s very simple to use. The suction power of the mount is very good. The magnet on the mount is excellent. Just make sure you mount it properly as I had a little trouble in the beginning because I did not install it the write way. The accuracy is pretty good. The radar detected cops almost all the time which is impressive. I had more than enough time to reduce my speed if I was speeding before I even saw the cop. I don’t think you would be disappointed if you purchase this radar. I give it a 4.8 out of 5 stars

Compared to my Bel STI Magnum, there are virtually no false alarms on K-band. The directional arrows are nice; they allow you to visually identify the source of the radar, especially if there is a law enforcement vehicle parked along the road, and you're not sure if radar is in use. So far, detection range is comparable to the STI Magnum; it may be greater for some frequencies, but I've not yet had a chance to drive out-of-state. I found the STI power cable matched the Max 360C requirements, which meant no replacement of the hard-wired power cable. It's a bit expensive, and as I don't carry a data plan for my phone, I'm not sure that feature is of value to me. I'm still trying to link the Escort with the telematics system on a BMW. If I can make that work, I won't need a data plan.

Great Radar Detector.
I have had Escort products before and they are always great. This one did not disappoint. I bought it for my husband for Christmas. He can easily move it from the car to the truck. It does a bunch. He is still figuring out everything that it is capable of. He was able to take out of box, register, download software to phone and use it. We are considering getting a second one for me. Picks up signals others have not.

Worth the extra price
Did a lot of comparison shopping for radar/laser detectors. There are many out there for a variety of price and capability ranges. There are also several demonstration videos out there for the 360c. It certainly performs as advertised and works great in my 911. Only thing I would recommend is purchasing a fixed rear view mirror mount assembly. The suction cup mount will not stay on your windshield.

Compared to Max 360
This Radar detector is reported to have identical performance to the Max 360. To lean about it, you can watch tons of video reviews on other sites. Basically its got solid performance equal or better than the Valentine V1. The key to the detector is the arrows. Once you use the arrows, its hard to go back to a detector that does not show you the direction of the threat. It also has GPS to lockout false signals from stores and other stationary non police signals. GPS also gives you your current speed and if you are connected to WiFi or the escort live app via Bluetooth, it gives you the current posted speed limit on the road. It will not know if there is a reduced speed zone for construction or road hazards. It will tell you if you are over the speed limit (you can set it to be right at the speed limit or warn you when you are a little above it). Here are the differences between this MAX 360C and the regular MAX 360 WiFi: This is the main addition to the detector. If you have a WiFi connection as part of your car, you can connect this to your car and it will always be connected to escort live without you having to open an app. It will also prompt you for updates when an update is present. It can update both the defender database and firmware over wifi. It will not just automatically do it. It will ask you first so that it wont make you miss threats. Since it will be connected to live, it will do all the things live does, alerts from other drivers, reporting threats to the cloud etc. It still has Bluetooth so it can still connect that way if you don't have WiFi in your car or a hotspot or tethering for that matter. Screen: Both have an OLED screen and both are the same size. The one on the MAX 360C is slightly brighter and uses a different font. The border around the speed limit and your speed has also been removed on the C so the numbers are bigger. Arrows: The arrows are now around the perimeter of the detector and larger. They are now easier to see and stand out more. Size: The C is much smaller and does not take up as much room on your windshield as the MAX 360 did. Sound: The sound has not changed on the C but seems just a hair quieter to me at full volume. Mount: This now uses a fully magnetic mount on the sticky cup. It is the same sticky cup but with a magnet and not a blade. The magnets look like they are a part of the sticky cup and not the detector. I have not checked to see if the detector has magnets but I know the mount does. Buttons: The buttons are in different locations and have a more solid feel. The mute button is in the middle of the front row now instead of on the right side. Case: The case no longer has holes except for the speaker holes at the bottom. Power cord: The power cord included is the one with the usb port so you can slow charge another device. Price: MSRP is $699 vs MSRP of $649 for the MAX 360. MAX 360 is cheaper online than $649 making the current price difference larger. I sold my 360 to get this and I am happy with my choice.

This is hands down the best radar detector ever made! It it not complicated at all it is plug and play and automatically gives you your speed, direction of radar sources, and location and distance of red light cameras! Simply outstanding ! I got hit with a laser tonight and all the directional light up arrows lit up red! Amazing! This radar is worth every penny and then some! Love it! Amazon has it for the lowest price at 600 so don’t waste your time looking for a cheaper price on eBay or elsewhere.

I am absolutely in love with this radar scanner!!! I’ve only had this scanner for about a week now and it has already saved my a$$ a ton of times. I am able to get from point A to point B so much faster! Never late for anything! The Escort Max360C is fully loaded with amazing features. My personal favorite being Wi-Fi enabled. I simply pair it to my hotspot on my phone, and my scanner is always up to date. Having the directional arrows on the scanner has been extremely useful when trying to locate where/what the read is. If the scanner detects that a read is false, it will store the read in your scanner so that you won’t be alerted by that read again. I would absolutely recommend this product to friends and family and anybody who has a need for speed. It may be a bit pricey, but let me tell you, you won’t regret throwing the extra money for this great top of the line scanner.
