My cat would probably disaprove of me talking to a dog, but hey, tough. So what is on your mind? I, for an examole, have little parience for cooking. Like, it starts nor mally with 3 potatos, 1 onion and then it always makes quantum leaps into dragons saliva, finely powdered bears claws and stuff like this.

Well, lets hope you are meat eater. Prep some mediumish jars - around 400ml or tad more. Onions, herbs you like, salt, pepper or chili oil/powder. Buy pig fat, chop into small pieces and throw into big pot. Boil till fat chunks are reduced to greaves. While fat is doing its thing, chop pork neck into third of a fist( unless you are loaf handed) chunks. Prime it with herbs etc(best to leave overnight or at least few hrs like that). Once lard is done take some pork and sear chunks in small batches, than throw them into big pot of lard. Repeat until meat is just about to be on top of lard. Bring it to boil. Now set it to low medium and let it simmer under lid for 3hrs. Chop onion the way you like it - IMHO best are half moons. After 3hrs add onion, and boil for 15m. Once it cools down to reasonable temp - put it in jars. I like to be it quite hot, so I can put jars in water, reheat. So it lasts longers. Challenge is on your side mate.
