Thịt heo thái lát mỏng cho vào thố, thêm 5ml rượu vào trộn đều, tiếp đó thêm 3g tinh bột khoai tây vào trộn chung.
Kim chi vắt lấy nước để riêng ra, cân kim chi nặng 250g, phần nước ép kim chi bạn lấy 120ml. Thêm 30ml rượu và 3g bột khoai tây vào nước kim chi khấy đều cho kết hợp.
Đun nóng chảo ở lửa vừa, tiếp đó cho dầu mè vào láng đều chảo. Cho thịt heo đã ướp vào đảo đều cho đến khi thịt chín vàng và hơi xém cạnh.
Thêm kim chi đã vắt vào xào cho đến khi kim chi chuyển sang màu hơi nâu. Thêm nước kim chi vào đảo chung, đun sôi trở lại cho đến khi sốt sánh lại thì thêm hẹ và hành lá vào là xong.
